Brief Biography: Kyle grew up here in North Mankato. Born the second of four children to Mark and Sharon Madson. He was baptized and confirmed at Mt. Olive Luthern Church in Mankato. Following 9 years of Christian dayschool at Mt. Olive, he attended Minnesota Valley Luthern High School before pursing his B.S. in Business Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He took a job in Colorado as an independent sales representative and stayed for about a year before returning to pursue the ministry. The Bethany Seminary has a special place in his heart. His great grandfather Norman A. Madson was Chaplain at the college when the seminary opened in 1946 and his grandfather Juul B. Madson was Greek and New Testament professor at the seminary and still serves on numerous committees as Professor Emeritus.
