Brief Biography: David was born on February 20th 1985 in Boise, Idaho. Shortly thereafter his family moved to the city of Milwaukee, WI. Milwaukee is where he grew up and continues to call “home.” David was homeschooled through high school, along with his four siblings. After graduating high school, he attended Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, WI. During his sophomore year at Concordia he began to study in depth the doctrinal teachings of Lutheran synods, and came into contact with Pastor Michael Feuerstahler and St. Mark Lutheran Church (WELS) in Brown Deer, WI. In the spring of 2005, David was brought into membership at St. Mark. One year later, while searching for other WELS/ELS peers at Concordia, he met his future wife, Kallie. They were married in December 2006. David graduated in May 2007 with a B.A. in Theology and a minor in Theological Languages. He looks forward to receiving an Orthodox Seminary education from Bethany.
David is an enthusiastic sports fan, especially of his favorite NFL team—the Indianapolis Colts. He also enjoys urban music, working on his car, and reading.
