Brief Biography: Christian was born on June 30, 1979 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, the oldest child of Jason and Rhonda Eisenbeis. He was baptized on July 15, 1979 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (WELS) in Tomahawk, Wisconsin by the Rev. Carl Siegler. He was confirmed on April 4, 1993 at Heritage Lutheran Church in Apple Valley, Minnesota by the Rev. Terry Laabs. After attending grade school at Good Shepherd Lutheran School (WELS) in Burnsville, Minnesota, Christian went to high school at Saint Croix Lutheran High School in West Saint Paul. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Russian Language and Literature from the University of Minnesota in 2000. He then went on to graduate school, receiving his Master of Arts Degree in Slavic Linguistics from the University of Chicago. He is currently a candidate for the Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Slavic Linguistics. Christian married Leah Lintner, his best friend from high school, on July 4, 2003. Their first child, Flora Jean, was born on February 21 (Ash Wednesday), 2007.
