The purpose of our Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary is to prepare pastors who properly divide the Word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15) The Law will be so preached that the most self-righteous individual is crushed by the magnitude of his sin. The Gospel will be so preached that the most burdened sinner knows the comfort of forgiveness in Christ. The seminary desires to maintain a Gospel predominance so that our future pastor will uphold the doctrine of Scripture with all the fervor of the seventeenth century dogmaticians and also have a love and fervor for souls. The seminary is sending forth dedicated men with a love for God’s Word and a love for souls. The work of the pastor is so important for here is offered in the Gospel peace and purpose for this life and the confident hope for the life to come. We encourage you to consider this important work.
