Brief Biography: Nathanael (Nate) Abrahamson was born October 22nd, 1985 in Midland, Michigan. He is the son of the Rev. Harvey and Ruth Abrahamson. He was baptized at Holy Scripture Lutheran Church in Midland, MI and confirmed at Redeemer Lutheran Church in New Hampton, IA. He is a 2004 graduate of New Hampton Community High School and graduated from Bethany Lutheran College in the spring of 2008 with a degree in Broadfield Social Studies. Nate has a passion for outreach and youth ministries and has been blessed with many opportunities to serve in these areas including a summer long youth ministry internship at Bloomington Living Hope Lutheran Church (WELS) in the Twin Cities. He is excited to share the message of Jesus Christ as a full time Servant of the Word.

Brief Biography: Jesse DeDeyne was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He grew up in Central Wisconsin (Wisconsin Rapids, Stevens Point, and Plover). He attended one year at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and then finished his degree at Bethany Lutheran College with a BA in Sociology. He is married to Katherine (Welke) and has one son (Jonah) and one child on the way.

Brief Biography: Tim grew up in Houston, Texas. In seventh grade, his family moved to Norway, where he was confirmed. Tim attended high school at Luther Preparatory school in Watertown, Wisconsin, and college at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. He graduated from there in 2007 with a B.A. in Biblical Languages. After graduation, Tim married Erika Schreiner. They currently live in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. Erika teaches at Crown of Life Lutheran School in West St. Paul. Tim is enjoying his senior year and plans to graduate in 2012.

Peter Heyn

Brief Biography: Peter Heyn was born on March 27th, 1980 in Milwaukee, WI. The first child born to Thomas and LaRue Heyn, he is now the oldest of nine. Peter attended elementary school at Eastside Lutheran (Madison, WI), Trinity Lutheran (El Paso, TX), and Mt. Olive Lutheran (Appleton, WI), where he was also confirmed. He attended high school at Fox Valley Lutheran (Appleton, WI) and Lakeside Lutheran (Lake Mills, WI). His colleges have included Marquette University, Martin Luther College, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he earned a B.S. in Secondary Education, with an additional History degree. He has been a student at the seminary since 2008.

Matthew Moldstad

Brief Biography: Matt was born on April 19th, 1982 in Sioux Falls, SD, the third child of President John and Joslyn Moldstad. He was baptized at Bethel Lutheran in Sioux Falls and confirmed at Mt. Olive Lutheran in Mankato, MN. After attending grade school at Holy Cross in Madison, WI and later at Mt. Olive, Matt went on to high school at Minnesota Valley Lutheran in New Ulm, MN. Upon receiving his Associate of Arts degree at Bethany Lutheran College in 2002, Matt joined the United States Navy. He graduated from the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA in 2003 with an Associate of Arts Degree in Hebrew. Matt was stationed as a Hebrew Linguist at Fort Gordon in Augusta, GA. Matt returned to Bethany in 2006 where he completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts. Matt married Joni Dukleth, his college sweetheart, on December 17th, 2004. Their first child, Christian Erik, was born on November 10th (Luther’s Birthday), 2005. Their second child, Caleb Ethan, was born on December 14th, 2007.

Brief Biography: Luke John Willitz was born in Spooner, WI on June 9, 1985. Throughout his childhood Luke resided in Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgia. Most recently he lived in Lakeland, FL for 8 years. Luke attended George Jenkins High School in Lakeland, FL before moving to Mankato, MN to attend Bethany Lutheran College in 2004. In 2007 he graduated from Bethany Lutheran College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts. On June 21, 2008 Luke married Kimberly Rachel Grunke. Their daughter, Aurora Dawn Willitz, was born May 11, 2009. Luke has been a student at Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary since fall of 2008.
